About

I am a technical writer and editor with a background in macOS systems engineering, endpoint management, and enterprise IT. I create user guides, administrator documentation, knowledge base articles, workflow documentation, playbooks, and process content for technical teams and end users.

My background in enterprise support and device management gave me regular opportunities to turn complex technical processes into documentation that improved consistency, reduced repeated questions, and helped users and support teams work more effectively. Over time, that documentation work became a central part of my professional focus and led me to pursue technical writing and editing more directly.

I currently serve as a Technical Editor for Apache OpenOffice documentation, where I review and revise user guide content for clarity, consistency, usability, and technical accuracy. I have also completed Scriptorium’s Introduction to DITA course and maintain portfolio samples in Markdown, GitHub-based formats, and introductory DITA XML.

My technical background includes macOS, Jamf Pro, endpoint management, enterprise support environments, and security-focused systems work. That hands-on experience helps me understand the tools and workflows I document and translate technical complexity into clear, audience-focused content. While my strongest subject matter expertise is in macOS and enterprise IT, I am also interested in a broader range of technical writing work, including user guides, administrator guides, manuals, how-to documentation, support content, and documentation systems.

I am especially interested in roles involving:

  • Technical writing
  • Technical editing
  • User and administrator documentation
  • Knowledge base and troubleshooting content
  • Process and workflow documentation
  • Manuals and how-to documentation
  • Structured authoring and documentation systems
